Antique Hand Blown Pink Cranberry Cased By White Glass Ruffled Rim OOAK







It is a one-of-a-kind decorative piece featuring Victorian styling and a glossy finish. The bowl is handmade and crafted from glass, with a unique pink cranberry cased by white glass design. It is a vintage item from the Victorian era, measuring 3 inches in height and 10.5 inches in width, weighing 1 pound 1.6 ounces.
This piece is pristine, no chips, cracks, flea bites or discoloration. This piece is between 126 and 175 years old. There are slight imperfections in the glass which are indicative of glass manufacturing in the mid to late 1800's.
A lot of incredible feats of glass blowing. Pink was so incredibly difficult to achieve the pieces that were pink are scarce from this era. This piece has a long ringing sound when tapped, this is from chemicals introduced to the glass. Selenium nano particles dispensed create pink to bright red.
Gold chloride is used for cranberry. Tin oxide along other chemicals to create milk glass.
