Antique French Ormolu Opaline Glass Bowl Basket Enameled Etruscan Greek Revival
An antique French Greek Revival ormolu mounted opaline glass bowl or basket. The basket is just over 9 inches tall and just over 8 inches wide, and the glass bowl is approximately 6.25 inches diameter across the top. It is in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks, no fleabites, just some age-appropriate wear, and there is a pinpoint spot of rim roughness that was gilded over when the bowl was decorated - it was made like this and the tip of the pen is pointing to it.
