Antique French Bohemian Cranberry Flowering Raspberry Acid Etched Cut Glass Vase
This French Bohemian art glass vase is a gorgeous shade of cranberry. Nice bulbous shape with slender neck. Sections of the vase are decorated with a satin acid etched design of a flowering raspberry vine. The vase also has geometric cut sections that are glossy and not satin finish. The bottom of the base has a nice polished pontil. French and Bohemian glasshouses both produced acid etched designs. Schreiber & Neffen to name a few contenders. Certainly a beautiful piece of European glass. 5-7/8 tall to be exact. The rim is 1-1/4" diameter and the base is 4" diameter.
