Antique British Victorian John Walsh Thorn Glass Vase Tree Trunk Centerpiece NR

Unusual four piece Victorian glass epergne/centerpiece/bud vase. By John Walsh Walsh, Unsigned. Clear glass with pulled out thorns texture and applied vines. Stands 10 1/4 tall and about 9 at widest. Weighs 2 pounds, 11 ounces. The main piece is a thorny bud vase with stylized tree root feet. At its lower section are three glass mounts where the other pieces slide in. There are some breaks to the tree root feet, quite possibly intentional. Currently has three short legs that each branch out with two feet. Looks like there were originally six legs and 12 feet. Im guessing it was difficult to have the vase stand solid on all 12 feet. Without wobbling so half of them were removed, and it was done symmetrically. Every other appendage was removed so the vase would stand solid. Small chip at top of one of the mounts. (this is the only one really noticeable).

Two of the slide in pieces have minor chips. Because of the overall texture of this piece the damaged areas are.
