Antique Bohemian F. Heckert uranium glass enamel vase c 1895

Very beautiful and rare Art Nouveau uranium glass vase from c 1895. Uranium glass became popular in the mid-19th century, with its period of greatest popularity being from the 1880s to the 1920s. Production could be attributed to Fritz Heckert in Petersdorf in my opinion, judging by the style of decoration of a beautiful spray of flowers, painted in gold colour with contours in green, blue and red. Designed in a lovely and very elegant Art Nouveau style with frosted iridescent finish. Excellent condition, some loss of gilt here and there.
