Antique Bohemian Enameled and Gilt Gold/Silver Art Glass Beaker Vase c1850
Fine antique Bohemian deep emerald green glass vase with hand painted enamels and gilts all around. Fantastic cut form with even the base being finely geometrically cut and the top rim polished. A striking sky blue with sterling and gold gilts decorate the body. Some rubbing to the gilts, but considering the age this is in very good shape. There is some chipping hidden on the bottom if you look closely, and I found a few teency flecks(literally the size of a pen-head dot)...
Edge on the top rim, and another on one of the blocks that stick out around the base if you really scrutinize. About 5" tall and 3 1/2" diameter. Displays extremely well, and in hand too it is very nice to admire the amount of work that went into this about 175 years ago.
