ABP Pairpoint Deep Intaglio Cut Engraved Glass Sweet Pea Trumpet Vase Grapes
It is hand blown from colorless glass crystal. The pontil on the foot bottom is ground and polished. The glass blank is relatively thick/heavy for this type of vase. The pattern is deeply cut intaglio gravic style. As always, typical of Pairpoint it is of excellent quality and workmanship. Size : 9.75 diameter at rim x 7 tall. Very good condition for its age, free of chips, cracks, and excessive use-wear. We detect a very small and shallow chip repair on inside of rim. It does not change the shape or profile of the rim, it is insignificant but worth mentioning. In general It has only light use-wear and the glass is bright and clear without any cloudiness. It has some scuffs on the foot bottom.
The entire foot bottom is factory ground flat and highly polished. The pontil is also fully ground and polished. Its a very beautiful piece of old old Pairpoint glass.
As always due to age may have slight imperfections such as minor scuffs, scratches, trim wear, and/or slight manufacturing defects. Please view all photos as they are part of this condition report.
