1890-1910's large C. F. Monroe Wave Crest Dresser Box Helmschmied Swirl pattern
Monroe decorated Pairpoint Wave Crest Glass Dresser Box Helmschmied swirl pattern. By 3-1/2 tall when closed. This beautifully decorated opaque glass dresser box has been closely inspected and is in great shape with no damage such a cracks, chips, chiggers, fleabites, etc.
And the very little if any signs of wear from use! There is wear showing on the gold-color metal parts. The hinge is tight, the lid swings open and closed as it should, and it closes to a match with the bottom half as it should.
The outside color starts off a very light pink at the bottom rim and fades up somewhat to the top to a "pearl/bone-white" color on the top of the lid. I would recommend looking at this with several different device monitors as all screens vary considerably, most to the yellow/green side as they get older. The silk or satin material in the lid and the base is a pale gold, is completely intact and attached as it should be, undamaged, and original. NOTE: the satin cloth looks a brighter gold color in the photos than by eye.
The outside colors of the box in the photos looks color-correct from my several computer monitors. A very nice vintage piece of Pairpoint-Wave Crest quality, you won't be disappointed it this one!
