1880's Set of 20 Cut Glass / Red Inlay Victorian Art Glass 3 + Lamp Prisms
1880'S SET OF 20 CUT GLASS W/ RED DETAIL VICTORIAN ART GLASS 3 + SPEAR POINT LAMP PRISMS. 1880's set of 20 crystal cut glass with red detail Victorian art glass lamp prisms. All but one in very good condition; one is broken in half and glued back together. Rarely seen period Victorian prisms with original red color inlay on the back of each cut prism, several with a slightly darker red than the others, please note photos.
Most desirable cut flat triangle spear point form, each approximately 3" long, with an additional 3/8" on the baubles and original brass pins. Multi-usage, but most often used on period Victorian hanging lamps and sconces.
Most likely a few fleabites in this early glass, no harm and to be expected. Often difficult-to-find early original crystal cut spear point prisms with red inlay to complete finest lamp.
Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victims may be the most oppressive.
