12 Victorian Loetz DEK I/4 Anomaly Orange to Yellow Hand Painted Art Glass Vase
This unique Loetz art glass vase is hand blown of spreading opal colours of orange and yellow with a hand painted floral and geometric brocade design. No pontil on the low footed base. The vase has a nice bulbous and tapered form.
Bottom of the vase is marked, I/4. However, it's not very visible to the naked eye. This Loetz DEK is considered an anomaly since the assigned DEK does not match with Loetz DEK I/4. This Loetz DEK is similar to I/200. For unknown reasons there is other Loetz DEK I/4 assigned with different hand painted art designs. This can be researched on the internet to learn more on about Loetz DEK I/4 anomalies. The rim is 2-3/4" diameter , and the low footed base is 2-3/8" diameter.
