Victorian John Walsh Walsh Iridized Finish Vaseline Opalescent Footed Bowl! We will be listing many treasures that are extremely rare over the upcoming weeks from our own collection. This is a fabulous Victorian era bowl. It was produced around 1900 by John Walsh Walsh in England. It has a very eye catching shape with the gently waving flared top opening to the bulbous protruding sides and footed base. Its most attractive feature is the beautiful iridized finish which reflects a rainbow of colors much like carnival glass. It also has a tulip floral design on its sides. The base has a polished pontil mark. It rings like a church bell when gently struck. We liberated this from England many years ago. Add some wonderful shapes and brilliant color and stunning design to your collection with this magnificent piece. This is for the best of collections! Size is 8 1/4" wide and 6" tall.
