1890's Victorian Cranberry Cased Vaseline Footed and Gold Engraved Rose Bowl! We will be listing many treasures that are extremely rare over the upcoming weeks from our own collection. This is a finely hand crafted etched footed rose bowl.It was produced in England around 1890 by Edward Webb at White House Glass. This is one of the most unique rose bowls we have ever found. Aside from the interior being cased with cranberry glass the exterior creamy white contains uranium and fluoresces like vaseline glass. The exterior is etched with a gold filled pattern of trees, blooms, and birds. In addition it has applied vaseline feet. The top opening has 9 crimps around its scalloped edge. The base has a polished pontil. We have never seen another like it. Add some brilliant color and stunning design to your collection with this magnificent piece. Size is 5 1/2" wide and 4" tall.
