Stunning Loetz or Tiffany Green Iridescent Crimped Art Glass Bowl, Victorian Era
One of the most stunning, Late Victorian Era, art glass bowls I've ever encountered and in my collection. A small crimped top art glass bowl in a unique shade of green with an extraordinary rainbow iridescence, most likely a salt cellar bowl, ca. The bottom has polished pontil with a small open trapped air bubble. I have found no markings, but this bowl was obviously made by Loetz or Tiffany, most likely early production and may have had a paper label at one time. I have experts tell me it was definetly a L. Bowl by the form, style, color of green, and iridescence. I've also been told by a well respected Loetz collector that it was an early production Loetz, ca. Either way, it's a marvelous piece with absolutely no damage; is in excellent condition. This eliminates any scams or discrepancies.
