Brides basket. All original. New price
It is of very fine quality. There are no breaks, chips, or cracks in the bowl. The enamel remains intact, which is amazing. Made in the 1880's, and being 130 + years of age.
It is the epitome' of Victorian style. This is a STATEMENT PIECE waiting to grace. That grand dining table as your guests arrive for that special occasion! The bowl fits SNUGLY in the frame, which implies they are. The silver plating appears to be fully present, and beautiful!I could not find the makers mark, so it. May not be Meriden, it could be Derby, Wilcox, Pairpoint, Tufts. Or any number of the great silver manufacturers of that region. The bowl is 12" wide, frame is 14" wide and 15 tall. Please view my other related items. Most items are antique, and this will show wear and use commensurate with age. I will describe any damage or significant issues that I feel will deter value. My PHOTOS are considered part of the description. I include many hi-res pictures. I promise to work fairly on any issues brought within this time frame.
If an item arrives damaged, contact me directly. Keep all packing, boxes, labels, and broken pieces for return in case requested. No exceptions unless approved in writing in advance. I don't charge for materials.
