The box mounted into ormolu mounts with hinge and'S' shaped clasp, hinge and clasp work properly. The box is not only a fine example of antique art glass, but a charming treasure from the time passed. Really lovely piece of art and overall in good condition for its age, showing light wear to silver, has no chips, cracks or repair. The box stands 3 1/4" (8.3 cm) high, 4" (10.2 cm) in diameter.
