This one of a kind antique blown glass carafe or decanter is elaborately decorated with hand painted enamel and gilt pictures and flowers. The applied glass trim and handles really set it apart from typical decanters.
It has a rough pontil and appears to be quite old. It is really an eye catching example of Victorian art glass. The paint looks great, very bright and appealing colors. I show the two flaws, missing portions of the applied ripple trim, in the last two photos. Otherwise it is in very good condition.
